Reiki part 1 & 2

Reiki 8 day workshop,

Welcome to an introduction to our Reiki workshop, currently being offered in Tiruvannamalai, Southern India.

What is Reiki?
It is best known as the most powerful system of healing, for both self healing and the healing of others.
It's ancestry goes back through mankind, while in the early 19th century was mastered by doctor Mikao Usui.

It is from his teaching that this workshop is based. Over the last 150 years, the art of Reiki had developed all over the world in as many forms as we have religions.

Mark-Hans has studied Reiki in Kyoto, the home and university of Usui. He continues the tradition with a keen yet modernised version of the original master's teaching.
Alongside this study, he has also studied Tibetan Reiki and Karuna Reiki.
He has achieved his Masters in all three schools, is registered internationally, and as well as being a spiritual teacher, is practicing Reiki healing as a daily professional practice.

The Workshop

Mark Hans has blended Reiki parts 1 & 2 together, because in essence, they go hand in hand.
There is a weekend in-between parts 1 & 2 in order to allow apprentices to settle and let the energy expand. This is very necessary as this workshop is both very beautiful but deeply profound and intensive.
Even if you have done Reiki 1 before at some time, it is extremely good to do it a second time and as said blend it into Reiki 2.
Mark Hans not only works from a fully awakened perspective, but is an extremely thorough Reiki Master and gets apprentices to understand the depths of spiritual/energetic power. Anyone studying under his instruction will not only become a powerful healer, but will also experience the essence of enlightenment.
So this workshop is really a unique experience of awakening and healing together.

The Schedule

The first 5 days, Reiki level 1 and (partly) 2:
Meditation and healing the shadow-self
Talks on Reiki history
The Five Principles
Reiki hand positions
Reiki symbols and their uses (primary)
Seven energy centres of the body
Knowing the mind, transcending mind
Self healing, self understanding
Knowing the enlightened self
Empowerment of healing energy
Self practice, group practice (primary)
Transmission practice, distance practice (primary)
Reiki 1, attunement and initiation.

Two full days rest

Reiki level 2 (secondary):
Meditation and Diksha (transmissions)
Empowerment of the Reiki symbols (major)
Empowerment of the chakras for healing work
Hands on practice on self and on others (major)
Spiritual and practical approaches.
Empowerment of local & distance healing energy
Assessments and further instruction
Reiki 2 attunement and initiation

Reiki Certificate

Certificating is awarded to apprentices who complete the full course and have shown a keen discipline and dedication to the teaching.
The workshop is restricted to 16 apprentices for maximum attention and detail.
We start at 10.00am each day, tea and hot lunch is included, and end at around 5.00pm.
You are invited to attend open meditation every day at 7.30am.
While there are 'others' offering Reiki courses, few are Internationally recognised and registered. Reiki comes from those who dedicate their lives to this miracle.
The course offered is 'official' and the certification is for Usui Reiki Level 1 and 2 combined.
